Helping People with Service Animals

Service animals help people with a variety of disabilities, some of which might not be visible. The best way to help is to welcome them into your car and to keep in mind the following:

1. Service animals are trained to enter the car before their owner and may sit near their owner to perform the task for which they have been trained.

2. To avoid interrupting their work, you should never touch or interact with the animal.

3. Consider carrying a towel or blanket for the animal to lie on. If there is damage or mess as a result of a service animal then you can reach out to us via the Help tab in your Uber Driver App for help.
