Update my Display Name in my Account

Consumers do not have access to see your full name. Only your first name is visible to consumers.

Before proceeding with updating your name, please note the difference between a Display Name and a Legal Name:

  • Display Name: The display name is the name other users will see when interacting with you on the platform. You may choose a display name for a variety of reasons, such as personal preference, privacy concerns, gender identity, religious, or cultural considerations. This will update your first name only.

  • Legal Name: This refers to the name that is officially recognized on your ID or legal documents, such as a driver’s license, passport, or other government-issued ID. If you need to update your legal name, it must match the name on the ID document approved on your account. If not possible to provide a matching ID, you will need to provide documentation that legally confirms your new legal name for us to be able to proceed with your request.

If you have both a rider and driver account, your name will be updated in both.
