Uber Eats Marketplace Fee Changes

We’re committed to creating a best-in-class delivery marketplace that connects your business with as many local customers and couriers as possible. As operating conditions have shifted over the past several years, we’re making updates to our pricing packages for restaurants. To support the overall growth and reliability of the Uber Eats Marketplace, we are updating our marketplace fee effective March 11, 2026.

Here’s what’s changing:

New Marketplace Fees

Standard Pricing Packages & New Marketplace Fees:

Delivery Orders

  • Lite: 20%
  • Plus: 25%, 30% for Uber One Member orders
  • Premium: 30% (no change)

Pickup Orders

  • Pickup: 7% with validated in-store pricing. Otherwise, 10%.

Learn more about how to validate your in-store pricing below. Without validated in-store pricing the Marketplace Fee for pickup orders will be 10%.

Fee structures may differ depending on your market. Log in to the Payments section of your Uber Eats Manager account to confirm the rates applicable to you.

Custom Delivery Marketplace Fees

Restaurants with a custom delivery Marketplace Fee will incur an increase of 3% from its current rate, not to exceed 30%.

Frequently asked questions:

Why is Uber Eats making this change?

Operating costs have continued to rise as we work to provide a best-in-class delivery marketplace for restaurants. Uber Eats’ Marketplace Fees have remained stable over many years despite the pandemic and increases in costs to operate our marketplace. This increase in pricing will help us reinvest in ways to drive more customer demand for restaurants, courier reliability, and improved products and tooling to support your business.

When is the change going into effect?

The pricing changes above will go into effect on March 11.

Where can I find my current Marketplace Fee?

You can find your current Marketplace Fee in Uber Eats Manager in the Payouts section. Admin users can log into Uber Eats Manager, navigate to Payments tab > then to Payouts. Scroll down to the Uber Fees section and you’ll find Delivery and Pickup Marketplace Fees.

What does my marketplace fee cover?

The Marketplace Fee supports reinvestment into making the Uber Eats Marketplace run reliably. This includes costs to fulfill deliveries with couriers, demand generation to attract more customers–such as discounting deliveries for Uber One Members–and transaction costs for payment processing, and insurance.

What are the differences between the pricing packages?

The pricing packages offer tiered pricing with more benefits of visibility, and opportunities to attract Uber One Members–the most engaged and valuable customers on Uber Eats–and more. See a full list of benefits by tier here. Restaurants that switch to Premium can also now unlock a complementary premium photo shoot package and complementary Uber One Membership for a year.

I’d like to switch to a different package, how can I do that?

Yes, you can switch to a different package at any time. Please see here for other pricing package options. You can contact support to change your package.

How do I update my Pickup prices to reduce my pickup Marketplace Fee to 7%?

You can reduce your pickup Marketplace Fee by matching your in-store pricing to your pickup pricing in Uber Eats Manager. Follow the steps below to upload your in-store menu & update your pickup pricing via Uber Eats Manager. Once validated your pickup marketplace fee will reduce to 7%.

Please note: For merchants with Toast integration, your in-store menu pricing is already validated through Toast. Therefore, no additional action is required on your end. Your 7% pickup fee will be applied automatically based on the menu provided by Toast.

How to upload your in-store menu on Uber Eats Manager:

  1. Sign in to Uber Eats Manager at restaurant.uber.com
  2. Choose Menu Pricing in the left sidebar and click Upload
  3. Upload a valid in-store menu file(s) or link(s) in one of the accepted formats (JPG, PNG, or PDF). If you’re uploading for multiple locations, select the additional locations from the dropdown to apply the in-store menu to multiple locations.
  4. Click Submit
  5. Once uploaded, navigate to the Menu tab in Uber Eats Manager and ensure your Pickup prices match your in-store menu prices you uploaded. You can see and adjust your Pickup prices on the right-side column of each menu item.

What is the timeline to upload in-store pricing to receive a discounted 7% MPF for pick-up instead of 10%?

Merchants can submit their in-store pricing at any time and it will be reviewed on a rolling basis. In order to ensure that a merchant receives the discounted pickup MPF of 7% when the new rates go into effect on March 11, the submission will need to be received by 11:59pm on March 6, 2026. After this date, any in store menu pricing submission received from a merchant will be reviewed and processed on a rolling basis, with any resulting MPF discount from 10 % to 7% to be applied within 10 days after receipt.

What about new merchants who just signed up for Uber Eats?

All restaurants who received this notice are impacted by this change.

What if I don’t want my restaurant to be on Uber Eats anymore?

If you do not wish to continue operating your business on the Uber Eats platform when the new Marketplace Fees go into effect, you may opt out by terminating your contract for convenience at any time from your receipt of this email until March 10, 2026.
