My order is taking longer than expected

Restaurants and delivery partners do their best to deliver food within the estimated delivery time, but external factors can cause delays. For example, if the restaurant is busier than normal, you placed a large order, or your delivery partner is in heavy traffic or bad weather conditions.

It might also happen, your Delivery Partner could complete another delivery during the trip for your order. This could take more time for your food to be delivered.

Be informed, some restaurants prefer to deliver their food by their own courier. In these cases, UberEats doesn’t have information regarding your order status, you won't be able to follow your order through the app, and the estimated time of arrival could be slightly different. But please, if you need information regarding your order, do reach out directly to the restaurant and they will provide you with all the necessary information, and also with the more precise new estimated time of arrival.
