How will Black Cab with Uber work?
Black Cab on Uber will go live in London in early 2024, from which point you can start accepting hirings. You can sign up for Black Cab on Uber via uber.com where you can confirm potential hirings through the Uber app.
The sign-up process can be done online and requires you to upload relevant licensing documents as well as complete a short e-learning module.
How are payments calculated?
Trip payments for Black Cab are based on the taxi meter and charged via the Uber app with a booking fee (plus any applicable additional fees, e.g. tolls). You will then receive payments for trips through the Uber app every week.
