Uber Access is our forward-facing wheelchair accessible product. All Access vehicles are fully wheelchair accessible and are available for riders in foldable and non-foldable wheelchairs that cannot fit in an UberX vehicle.
This product is priced exactly the same for riders as UberX. However, as a driver you will earn 15% more on Uber Access trips.

SIGNING UP
Drivers who have completed 150+ trips and maintain a rating of 4.7 or above are eligible to sign up to Uber Access.
GETTING ACTIVATED
In order to get activated to receive Access trips, you must complete two online disability equality training sessions. You can access the training via this link.
If you already have access to your own wheelchair accessible vehicle (WAV), you will need to book a vehicle inspection at your local Uber Greenlight Hub. You can do this in the Help section of your Uber app by going to: Book an appointment > Managing account > I need to complete a vehicle inspection in the Hub > Uber Access. Once you have successfully completed this, you should start receiving Uber Assist trip requests within 48 hours.
