If you are unable to sign up for a new account with your email or phone number, it’s possible that you’ve already registered for an Uber account. We recommend that users have only one Uber account for both rides and Uber Eats.

If you have a driver or delivery person account, no need to register for a Rider account. Just sign in in the rider app using the same credentials as your driver or delivery person account.

You will also need to send through proof of your mobile number or email address by taking a screenshot of:

  • Phone number you’d like to use from device settings
  • Your email inbox displaying the email address you want to use
  • Or anything else that shows you are the owner of the email / mobile
