If your Uber-managed device is not working, you can start receiving orders again by following the steps in the options below. For a step-by-step walkthrough, watch the video here.
Option 1 | Download the Uber Eats Orders app. If you have access to a Google account or can create one, we recommend this as the fastest setup method that works on both Uber-provided tablets and personal Android devices.
Option 2 | If you prefer to restore your previous Uber-managed setup, choose this tablet restore option. This uses the QR code sent via email and requires a few additional steps.
Option 3 | Access Uber Eats Orders on the web.
Option 1 | Download the Uber Eats Orders app
This guide below walks you through setting up a new Android device, downloading the Uber Eats Orders app from the Google Play Store, and logging into your restaurant account. For a video walkthrough of this option, watch here.
Step 1: Connect your device to wi-fi and sign in to the Google Play store. If you don’t have an account, please create one.

Tap the search bar at the top of the screen and type Uber Eats for Restaurant.
Look for the Uber Eats Orders app published by Uber Technologies, Inc. and tap Install.
Step 3: Log In to Uber Eats Orders App
Open the Uber Eats Orders app.
Enter your Uber Eats Orders credentials associated with your restaurant account. Having trouble locating your UEO credentials? See here.
You should now be able to take orders.
Option 2 | Tablet Restore with QR Code
For a video walkthrough of this option, watch here.
Step 1: Reset your Uber-managed tablet
The process to reset your tablet will vary depending on device type. For Android devices, select Settings (gear icon) >> Backup & reset >> Factory data reset. Under the Factory reset screen, tap Reset tablet, and select “Erase everything”.
Step 2: Pull up the QR scanner on your tablet.
Do not press the start button. You can open the QR scanner by tapping below the welcome banner on the tablet screen 6–8 times.
Ensure that the device screen is at its brightest setting.
Zoom in on the tablet until the QR code scans.
Step 4: Set up your Uber-managed tablet
Connect the device to your local WiFi network, if prompted.
The device will begin setup. You should see a “Setting up work device…” screen.
Follow any additional prompts that appear. Depending on the device, you may see a few setup screens.
Once setup has started, the Ivanti Go app will launch.
In the Ivanti app, tap the menu icon in the top-left corner.
From the menu, tap “Kiosk” and enable permissions. The device will now enter kiosk mode.
Once setup is complete, confirm that the Uber Eats Orders app is downloaded and working. This process may take several minutes.
“Once the Uber Eats Orders app is downloaded, you should be automatically signed in when you open it. If not, sign in using your UEO credentials. If you still have trouble accessing the app, try closing and reopening it.”
If these steps do not restore your device, please follow the options below.
