What is the ChatGPT integration?

The integration with ChatGPT offers riders another way to request a ride. You can plan a trip within the ChatGPT app and then complete the ride request and payment process in the Uber app.

When is the launch?

The integration with ChatGPT launches on November 18th.

Where can I use this integration?

Currently, the results from Uber will only show if you are located in the US.

What surfaces will the integration be available?

The integration will be available for the ChatGPT web, and mobile app, on Android and iOS.

Do I need an Uber account to book an Uber ride?

Yes, to complete the booking in the Uber app you will need an Uber account. If you don’t have an Uber account, download the Uber app to begin.

Can I book scheduled rides through ChatGPT?

No, currently, you can only make on-demand ride requests through ChatGPT. All rideshare options including UberX, UberXL, Comfort, Black are available for on-demand bookings. Scheduled ride requests are not supported at this time.

I am seeing a pricing discrepancy between ChatGPT and Uber Rides

ChatGPT will initially show a price range for your ride. If you don’t complete the trip booking immediately, you may see a change in price in the Uber app. To avoid this, complete the booking in a timely manner to keep the pricing listed.
