In some cities, you can pay for your order in cash. To do so, you must select it as your payment method before ordering by doing the following:
Tap the “ACCOUNT” button at the bottom right of the screen.
Select the “WALLET” option, and then select “CASH”.
You’ll pay the Delivery Partner the amount shown on your receipt at the end of your order. This amount includes any applicable discounts or promotions.
If you do not have enough cash, the Delivery Partner will not be able to deliver your order. This will generate a debit that will be charged on your next order when you add a credit or debit card to your Uber account.
To avoid that situation, you will need to add a credit or debit card to your Uber Eats account and then select it as your payment method before ordering. Follow the steps below:
Go to the “ACCOUNT” section in the bottom right corner of your screen.
Tap the “WALLET” section and select “ADD PAYMENT METHOD”.
Tap “CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS” and fill in the fields with your card information.
Select “SAVE” in the confirmation pop-up window.
You must have at least one payment method to have an active Uber Eats account. If you want to remove the only registered payment method, you will need to add another one.
Try to pay for your order with the exact amount, as Delivery Partners do not usually handle cash for change.
