What is Uber Courier?

Uber Courier allows you to request a driver to transport packages to the person waiting at a designated dropoff location.

बाइक या स्कूटर से डिलीवर होने वाले पैकेज में आप छोटे और मीडियम साइज़ के ऐसे पैकेज भेज सकते हैं :-

• जिनमें कोई प्रतिबंधित आइटम न हों (नीचे प्रतिबंधित आइटम की लिस्ट देखें)
• जिनका अधिकतम वज़न 15 पाउंड और कुल कीमत $100 तक हो
• जो बैकपैक में आराम से आ जाएँ
• जो बंद हों, सुरक्षित तरीके से सील किए गए हों और पिकअप के लिए तैयार हों

प्रतिबंधित आइटम

जब तक कि आपके कॉन्ट्रैक्ट में अलग से कोई ज़िक्र न हो, प्रतिबंधित आइटम में ये शामिल हैं, लेकिन सिर्फ़ इन तक सीमित नहीं है :-

• अल्कोहल
• जानवर
• बंदूकें
• नाज़ुक आइटम
• पैसे/गिफ़्ट कार्ड/वगैरह।
• नशीली दवाएँ

अगर आपके पैकेज में कोई प्रतिबंधित आइटम है या आपका पैकेज ऊपर बताई गई शर्तों का पालन नहीं करता है, तो ड्राइवर पार्टनर आपका अनुरोध कैंसिल कर सकते हैं।

How to request a delivery

To request a delivery:

1. Tap the package icon in the Uber app.
2. Select “Send a package” or “Receive a package” and enter the sender or recipients information. Remember to always fill in this information so you can activate the delivery PIN.
3. Tap “Choose Courier”.
4. Review package guidelines and select “Got it”.
5. Review delivery details, select delivery options, and add special instructions.
6. Confirm your delivery request.

You won’t be able to change the pickup or dropoff address after requesting the delivery.

The delivery PIN is a way to help confirm a package was delivered, but there may be times when it’s not possible to collect the PIN. If you activate a delivery PIN, this will be visible in your app and shared with the person who receives the item. The receiver should be ready to pick up the delivery and share the PIN with the driver.

If your package was damaged during delivery and you would like to seek a refund of the delivery cost, you must submit a photo and description of the damage within three business days following the delivery date.

Uber does not maintain insurance for packages.
