What happens if a driver arrives late for pickup?

If the driver arrives more than 5 minutes after the scheduled pickup time, $60 in Uber Cash is automatically applied to your Uber Wallet. This policy doesn’t apply to airport pickup bookings.

What happens if a rider isn’t matched with a driver?

If a driver isn’t matched within 8 minutes of the scheduled pickup time, $120 in Uber Cash is automatically applied to your Uber Wallet. You’ll see the credits in your Uber Wallet within 72 hours of the late or missed ride.

Is the Uber Cash transferable?

The amount received is non-transferable. Uber may modify, cancel, or suspend the conditions of on-time pickup protection at any time.
