Who is covered?

The Minimum Standards Order (MSO) for on-demand delivery services, including the Earnings Guarantee, applies to deliveries completed in Australia on the Uber Eats platform using an MSO covered vehicle.

Which vehicles are not covered?

Deliveries made using a vehicle with a carrying capacity of more than 1 tonne are not covered by the MSO or the Earnings Guarantee.

If you have more than one vehicle on your account, Earnings Guarantee coverage depends on the vehicle used to complete each delivery.

Uber will contact you via email and in-app message if we identify a vehicle on your account that is not covered by the Earnings Guarantee.

Why are some vehicles not covered?

Vehicles with a carrying capacity of more than 1 tonne are not covered by the Earnings Guarantee under the Australian Minimum Standards Order for on-demand delivery services.

What if I think my vehicle has been incorrectly categorised?

If you believe your vehicle has been incorrectly excluded from the Earnings Guarantee, you can request a review through Uber Support.
