Our Community Guidelines require account holders to be at least 18 years of age and prohibit ride requests for those under 18, unless you’re using an Uber teen account. To create a teen account, guardians can invite their teen by following the steps below:

1. Open your Uber App
2. Select Account then scroll down to Family and teens
3. Select Add new member and select the option for Teen
4. Enter your teen’s contact information

If a minor under the age of 18 doesn’t have an Uber teen account, they must be accompanied by an adult when using Uber. Accounts used to transport unaccompanied minors may be deactivated.
