Some orders show an estimated price for the subtotal and tax. By placing your order, you authorize your delivery partner to order and pay on your behalf. After the order is completed, you'll see the final order total along with an updated receipt, after your delivery partner pays the merchant.
The actual charge may vary due to in-store menu prices, item availability, and item substitutions. If that happens, we'll use the actual item prices to update your final subtotal and tax. Everything else -- from Promotions, Delivery Fee, Service Fee, Small Basket Fee, Subscriptions and other Discounts, will be based on the Estimated Total.
ESTIMATED PRICING TERMS:
- Estimated Subtotal = the estimated price of the order, which excludes promotions, small-order fee, service fee, delivery fee, and, as applicable, tip
- Estimated Total = the estimated total price of the order, which includes promotions, small-order fee, service fee, delivery fee, and, as applicable, tip
- Final Subtotal + Tax = the amount paid to the merchant by the delivery partner. It's been adjusted to reflect the merchant's charges for all items purchased, including applicable taxes and fees.
- Final Total = the merchant-confirmed total price of the order, which includes promotions, small-order fee, service fee, delivery fee, and, as applicable, tip

QUESTION: WHY DID THE TAX AMOUNT CHANGE?
The tax amount may be adjusted according to the new final total, based on the amount charged by the merchant.
. . .
QUESTION: WILL OTHER CHARGES/FEES CHANGE WHEN THE ESTIMATED TOTAL IS UPDATED?
No. The service fees, delivery fees, promotions, discounts, and, as applicable, tip amounts you see during checkout won't change if the estimated total is updated.
