What is a Pick-Up Order?

It is an order that you request through the Uber Eats application and that you collect directly at the Merchant. To request an order in this mode, follow these steps:

1. Open the Uber Eats app.
2. Select the food mode “PICK UP”; which is above your address.
3. Determine if you want your order to be fulfilled immediately or if you want to schedule it. Then, you will be able to see the preparation time, distance from the Merchant, price and rating of the Restaurants.
4. Once you place the order, you will be notified when the Restaurant accepts it, the estimated time it will be ready and when you can pick it up.

After the order is accepted by the Restaurant or Merchant and is in preparation, no changes or cancellations can be made to it. Nor can changes be made to the delivery method, so it is important before confirming your order that you review the items, the promotions (if applicable), and the delivery method.

When should I collect my order?

The application will notify you about the progress of your order, so it is necessary to be aware of the messages and changes that appear on your screen. You can review the different stages in which your order is and have an Estimated Delivery Time. When the Restaurant places your order under the status of “Ready for Pick Up”, you must present yourself at their address and share the order number, thus facilitating the delivery of the order.

Note: We remind you that the preparation times depend on the Restaurant, in this process, Uber Eats has no interference.

Where do I find the order number?

The order identification number is located at the top of the tracking screen, below the initials of your first and last name, as well as on the receipt.

What payment methods can I use?

Only digital payment methods can be used for this type of order. To simplify the shopping experience, you can use those that are already registered in the application.

We remind you that the prices shown in the application are established by the Restaurants, so Uber Eats has no influence on them.
