Here are major steps to use a voucher.
Once a voucher has been given to you, you will receive an email or message. Tap the URL in the email or message and a voucher will be added to your account. If you were notified directly via the app, a voucher has already been associated with your account. If not, please enter the code.
Only one voucher code per campaign can be registered in your account. You may register multiple vouchers, as long as each voucher is for a different campaign.
You will be required to register a payment method other than cash in your account (Rakuten pay is not available at some stores), as orders placed with vouchers will be charged to your personal payment method once the full amount has been charged. Once the order delivery is completed, the voucher will be applied and the charge to your personal payment method will be canceled.
A valid voucher will be automatically selected at the time of order. If the total amount of the order exceeds the voucher limit, the excess amount will be charged to your personal payment method.
The selected voucher will be displayed on the order confirmation page. If you wish to select a different voucher or not use the voucher, you can change it on the “Payment Options” by tapping on the voucher display before placing the order.
Each voucher has its own conditions of use set by the company issuing the voucher, such as expiration date, number of times it can be used, and services to which it can be applied. Please check the conditions of use of your registered voucher in the following ways.
The order must be delivered before the expiration date. After the expiration date, even if items are under preparation or delivery are in progress, the voucher will expire and will be charged to your personal payment method.
Even if the total amount spent does not reach the voucher limit or is less than the limit due to a refund, the maximum number of times the voucher can be used cannot be exceeded.
Example: If you ordered once and have 1,000 yen remaining until the limit in your account.
Maximum number of use is 1: The remaining 1,000 yen cannot be used.
Maximum number of use is 2: The remaining 1,000 yen can be used for your next order.
Your voucher balance will not be changed until you receive your order. When placing multiple orders at the same time, please pay attention to the total amount. For example, if you place two orders, even if the first order exceeds the voucher limit, it will not be recognized by the system until the second order is completed, making it appear that the voucher is applied to both orders. However, the second order will be charged to your personal payment method once the voucher has been applied to the first order.
If the voucher is not applied and the claim is not canceled, please check the following.
It takes time: the voucher will be applied after the order is delivered and the charge to your personal payment method will be canceled, but it may take some time to be reflected. Please check again after 15 minutes or so.
Order canceled: If an order is canceled and a cancellation fee occurs, it will be charged to your personal payment method. The selected voucher will be reverted.
Expired: Please refer to the note “Complete by expiration date”
Limit was exceeded by multiple orders at the same time: Please refer to the note “Balance will be updated after the order was completed”
If the order is canceled, the voucher will be returned to your account, but it may take some time for it to reappear in your account; please check again after about 15 minutes.
