It is a new alternative for Small and Medium Businesses available within Uber Central, where you can request a ride to send or receive an item.
Once you request a shipment, a Driver or Delivery Partner will be in charge of collecting and transferring the item to the address entered in the application.
This modality, for the moment, is only available in Mexico, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama y Jamaica.
Uber Flash works in much the same way as an UberX ride. The main distinction is that Uber Flash transports items from a point of origin to a final address.
This mode is exclusively for the transport of items, if you want to request a trip for one person, you need to select the UberX option. If not, the Driver will have to cancel your request.
At the moment, Uber Flash Central is exclusively operating in Mexico, Bolivia, Peru, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Guatemala, Panama y Jamaica. This service is in a period of expansion and will soon be available for other cities.
