If you are using an Android device, you can download the app by searching “Uber Driver” in the Google Play Store or tapping here.

The latest version of the Uber Driver app requires Android 8.0. Update your Android OS to the latest version if you are not on Android 8.0. If you are having trouble downloading the app using your cell phone data, you may need to connect to a Wi-Fi network.

If you are having trouble downloading the Uber Driver app on your Android device and your device displays an error like “Unable to obtain a secure connection to the server”, try the following actions:

• Force quit browser app.
• Clear browser cache.

To quit the browser application:

1. Swipe up from the bottom of the screen, hold and release.
2. Swipe up on the browser app to close it.
3. You can also scroll to the left and tap “Clear all” to exit all open apps.

To clear your browser cache:

1. Tap the menu option (usually a 3-dot icon in the top right corner) in the browser.
2. Tap “Settings” > “Privacy and security” > “Clear browsing data”.
3. Select what you want to clear and then “Clear data”.

The above steps will delete all saved passwords and browsing data.
