Help with a cash order

Some restaurants using the Uber Eats app will arrange for delivery of your order with their own couriers. Before you click ‘Place Order’, you’ll be notified if the restaurant you selected will be delivering your order to you.

When merchants use their own delivery staff, you won’t be able to follow the delivery staff’s location in the app.

If you are having issues with your order, please share a few details about what was wrong so our team can help.

However, take into account the following information below that could be helpful to solve some issues with your order:

  • If an item is out of stock, this will be excluded in advance, so you don’t have to pay for it when you receive your order.
  • Your order will be paid in cash only, so if you have a payment method like a credit or debit card, this won’t be used for these orders.
  • If your order was delayed at the restaurant or during the delivery, take into account that you’ll have an estimated time of arrival, so check this in advance because your order can be on the way.
  • Take into account to have the exact amount to pay your order to the courier in the delivery. We cannot assure they will have change for you.
