Seeing two charges?

It’s possible it may be an authorization hold.

All orders create an “authorization hold” when you place an order, Uber Eats will ask processors (e.g., banks, credit card issuers) to authorize and hold the upfront fare amount before the order completed. It is equivalent to a pending charge that we will convert to a full charge after the order has been completed.

Some of the banks will send the SMS related to an authorization hold, please note that it’s not actually charged.

Cancellation Policy

If you self-serve canceled the order in our app after the order got accepted, there’s a pop-up message confirming cancellation again. Please note that you will be charged for the meal but the delivery fee.
