Under Washington State law, drivers are entitled to minimum per minute, per mile and per trip rates on all Rides trips.

Minimum Rates (outside Seattle)

For any trip that begins outside the City of Seattle in 2025, you are entitled to the greater of the per-trip minimum or the combined per-minute and per-mile rates.

• Per-Mile Rate: $1.38
• Per-Minute Rate: $0.40
• Per-Trip Minimum: $3.55

These rates apply during passenger time, which is the period when a rider is in your vehicle.

## Minimum Rates (in Seattle)

The City of Seattle has a separate ordinance with higher minimum rates for rideshare drivers. If your trip starts in Seattle in 2025, you are entitled to:

• Per-Mile Rate: $1.63
• Per-Minute Rate: $0.70
• Per-Trip Minimum: $6.12
