Please Note: These benefits apply to Rides trips, for both rideshare and commercial drivers throughout Washington state. The City of Seattle has different, and in some cases additional, ordinances for both rideshare drivers and delivery couriers. A: For trips outside of Seattle, you are entitled to a minimum of $1.38 per mile and $0.40 per minute during passenger time, with a $3.55 minimum per trip.

Q: How do I get Paid Sick Time in Washington?

A: You earn 1 hour of Paid Sick Time for every 40 hours of passenger platform time (time a rider is in your vehicle).
