What is Uber Courier?

Uber Courier allows you to request a driver to transport packages to the person waiting at a designated dropoff location.

Vad kan jag skicka?

För paket som levereras med fordon kan du skicka små eller medelstora paket som:

• Inte innehåller förbjudna föremål (se listan över förbjudna föremål nedan)
• Inte överskrider vikt- eller värdebegränsningarna för en leverans
• Enkelt får plats i bagageluckan på ett medelstort fordon
• Är stängda, ordentligt förseglade och redo för upphämtning

För paket som levereras med cykel eller scooter kan du skicka små eller medelstora paket som:

• Inte innehåller förbjudna föremål (se listan över förbjudna föremål nedan)
• Har en sammanlagd maxvikt på 15 pund och ett sammanlagt högsta värde på 100 USD
• Enkelt får plats i en ryggsäck
• Är stängda, ordentligt förseglade och redo för upphämtning

Förbjudna objekt

Om inte annat anges i ditt avtal omfattar förbjudna objekt, men är inte begränsade till:

• Alkohol
• Djur
• Skjutvapen
• Ömtåliga objekt
• Pengar/presentkort/etc.
• Narkotika

Om ditt paket innehåller ett förbjudet objekt eller strider mot restriktionerna ovan kan föraren avboka din beställning.

How to request a delivery

To request a delivery:

1. Tap the package icon in the Uber app.
2. Select “Send a package” or “Receive a package” and enter the sender or recipients information. Remember to always fill in this information so you can activate the delivery PIN.
3. Tap “Choose Courier”.
4. Review package guidelines and select “Got it”.
5. Review delivery details, select delivery options, and add special instructions.
6. Confirm your delivery request.

You won’t be able to change the pickup or dropoff address after requesting the delivery.

The delivery PIN is a way to help confirm a package was delivered, but there may be times when it’s not possible to collect the PIN. If you activate a delivery PIN, this will be visible in your app and shared with the person who receives the item. The receiver should be ready to pick up the delivery and share the PIN with the driver.

If your package was damaged during delivery and you would like to seek a refund of the delivery cost, you must submit a photo and description of the damage within three business days following the delivery date.

Uber does not maintain insurance for packages.

Kan jag skicka ett paket till någon som en överraskning?

Vi rekommenderar att du informerar mottagaren om leveransen så att de kan möta upp föraren på trottoarkanten och hämta paketet från fordonet.

Om du skickar paket till någon som en överraskning måste du tydligt instruera föraren i meddelandeavsnittet i Uber-appen att lämna paketet vid mottagarens dörr. Föraren kan alltid avböja sådana beställningar.
