Sometimes accidents happen on the road. Even to the safest drivers. From 1st August 2018 you are protected from the financial cost of injury (including emergency medical treatment and loss of earnings) if you're in an accident while on an Uber trip.
This insurance from AIG is paid for by Uber, at no cost to you.
Now you know you're protected on-trip, just in case.

How do I submit a claim?
In the event you've been in an accident and think you might have a claim, please submit a claim via one of the following channels:

-By telephone to AIG Insurance Claims department on 0860 113 522 (Mon - Fri 8am-4:30pm);
Via Email: uberclaims@aig.com

Covers while on-Trip include:
- Accidental Death or Disability
- Emergency Medical Treatment following an accident
- Hospital Confinement Payment
- Daily Payment Benefit if you're injured and unable to drive for a capped number of days following an accident
