Uber Courier (formerly Uber Flash) is a new alternative within the Uber application where you can request a delivery to send or receive an item.
A partner in a vehicle will be in charge of collecting and delivering the item.
Here are some important information you should know about Uber Courier:
- You can't schedule a delivery - it needs to be requested in the moment you need something delivered.
- Uber Courier is exclusively for item delivery and can't replace an UberX ride. If you order by mistake and don't wish to use it for this purpose, please cancel.
- If the package can't be delivered to the recipient, the driver will get in touch with the requester to coordinate a return trip to the origin. This trip will be paid by the requester and the object will be returned.
- We recommend that your items are sealed. In case of sending documents, we recommend you to store them in an envelope or folder (if possible of plastic), this to keep them in optimal conditions.
