Retailer Return Policy

Use this article if you are looking to make a return due to the following reasons:

  • Ordered accidentally
  • Changed mind
  • Didn’t like the item
  • The item didn’t fit
  • Poor quality

Return Policy

During the in-store return, please provide the return receipt with a return barcode. Follow these instructions to locate the return receipt in the Uber Eats app:

  1. Select Orders at the bottom of the home screen.
  2. Select the order that includes the item(s) you’d like to return.
  3. Select Return an item to view in-store return instructions. Or for select retailers, get a courier to make your return for you.

Ace Hardware

Uber Eats orders of Ace Hardware products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase with receipt to the Ace retail location listed on your receipt.

  • Return window: 30 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Return barcode which can be found in the Uber Eats app
  • Refund options: Uber Eats returns will be refunded to the method of payment selected in-app. Please be sure to retain a return receipt from the merchant to upload in-app in order to receive your refund.
  • Exceptions: Each Ace Hardware store has its own customer service and return policies, so please check with your local store for details. Uber Eats purchases must be returned to the Ace retail location listed on your receipt. For assistance with order-related issues, please reach out to Uber Eats Customer Support. AtHome

Uber Eats orders of AtHome products may be returned or exchanged within 60 days of purchase with receipt to an AtHome store location.

  • Return window: 60 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Return barcode which can be found in the Uber Eats app
  • Refund options: Refunds will be issued as merchandise credit
  • Exceptions: Items must be returned in original packaging and with all paperwork, parts, and accessories. Return ineligible items: Firearms and Ammunition, Shooting Accessories, Bows and Cross-Bows, Autographed Memorabilia, Outboard Motors, Gasoline-powered items, Software, Gift Cards. Other exceptions may apply, see AtHome’s Return Policy for details.

Best Buy

Uber Eats orders of Best Buy products may be returned or exchanged within 15 days of purchase with receipt to a Best Buy store location.

  • Return window: 15 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Return barcode which can be found in the Uber Eats app
  • Refund options: Uber Eats returns will be refunded to the method of payment selected in-app. Please be sure to retain a return receipt from the merchant to upload in-app in order to receive your refund.
  • Exceptions: Some items sold by Best Buy have a restocking fee if returned by a customer. See Best Buy’s Return Policy for details.

Costco Canada

Costco members may return most Uber Eats orders of Costco products to a Costco warehouse at any time for a full refund.

  • Return window: Costco Members: most products can be returned at any time, see return policy for more details. Non-members: Returns are up to the warehouse’s discretion.
  • Things to bring: Return barcode which can be found in the Uber Eats app.
  • Refund options: Refunds will be issued as merchandise credit.
  • Exceptions: Exceptions include electronics and major appliances (90-day limit), cigarettes, alcohol, and certain high-value jewelry, which have restricted return windows. Returns by non-members are up to the warehouse’s discretion on whether to process the return. See Costco’s return policy for details.

Dick’s Sporting Goods

Uber Eats orders of Dick’s Sporting Goods products may be returned or exchanged within 90 days of purchase with receipt to a Dick’s Sporting Goods store location.

  • Return window: 90 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Return barcode which can be found in the Uber Eats app
  • Refund options: Uber Eats returns will be refunded to the method of payment selected in-app. Please be sure to retain a return receipt from the merchant to upload in-app in order to receive your refund.

DSW

Unless marked as Final Sale, merchandise purchased through Uber Eats may be returned for a DSW merchandise credit within 30 days of purchase.

  • Return window: 30 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Uber Eats App receipt
  • Refund options: Refunds will be issued as merchandise credit
  • Exceptions: Returned merchandise must be returned at a DSW US location, unworn, and in the original packaging together with a valid UberEats receipt. Merchandise marked as FINAL SALE cannot be returned. See DSW’s Return Policy for details.

Finish Line

You can return most items directly to a Finish Line store within 45 days of the original purchase.

  • Return window: 45 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Return barcode which can be found in the Uber Eats app
  • Refund options: Uber Eats returns will be refunded to the method of payment selected in-app. Please be sure to retain a return receipt from the merchant to upload in-app in order to receive your refund.
  • Exceptions: Items must be unworn, in original condition; returned with price tags still attached (if the returned item is apparel or accessories); returned in their original box (if the returned item is footwear). Some additional exceptions apply. See Finish Line’s Return Policy for details.

Five Below

Uber Eats orders of Five Below products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase to a Five Below store location.

  • Return window: 30 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Return barcode which can be found in the Uber Eats app
  • Refund options: Uber Eats returns will be refunded to the method of payment selected in-app. Please be sure to retain a return receipt from the merchant to upload in-app in order to receive your refund.
  • Exceptions: Items must be returned unopened, in original packaging, and in new condition. Return-Ineligible items: Gift Cards. Other exceptions may apply, see Five Below’s Return Policy for details.

GNC

Uber Eats orders of GNC products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase with receipt to a GNC store location.

  • Return window: 30 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Uber Eats App receipt
  • Refund options: Refunds will be issued as merchandise credit
  • Exceptions: Items must be returned unopened, in original packaging, and in new condition. Gift cards are ineligible for returns. See GNC’s Return Policy for details.

Hibbett Sports

Uber Eats orders of Hibbett Sports products may be returned or exchanged within 60 days of purchase with receipt to the Hibbett Sports location where your order was purchased.

  • Return window: 60 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Show the return barcode on your Uber Eats app and bring a valid government-issued photo ID
  • Refund options: Uber Eats returns will be refunded to the method of payment selected in-app. Please be sure to retain a return receipt from the merchant to upload in-app in order to receive your refund.
  • Exceptions: Items purchased in-store more than 60 days ago and/or those items without a receipt may be given a merchandise credit equal to the current price. Valid identification required. Items must be unworn, unwashed and in “like new” condition. Other exceptions may apply, see Hibbett Sport’s Return Policy for details.

JD Sports

You can return most items directly to a JD Sports store within 45 days of the original purchase.

  • Return window: 45 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Return barcode which can be found in the Uber Eats app
  • Refund options: Uber Eats returns will be refunded to the method of payment selected in-app. Please be sure to retain a return receipt from the merchant to upload in-app in order to receive your refund.
  • Exceptions: Items must be unworn, in original condition; returned with price tags still attached (if the returned item is apparel or accessories); returned in their original box (if the returned item is footwear). Some additional exceptions apply. See JD Sports Return Policy for details.

Linen Chest

You can return most items directly to a Linen Chest store within 45 days of the original purchase.

  • Return window: 45 days from date of purchase.
  • Things to bring: Return barcode which can be found in the Uber Eats app.
  • Refund options: Uber Eats returns will be refunded to the method of payment selected in-app. Please be sure to retain a return receipt from the merchant to upload in-app in order to receive your refund.
  • Exceptions: Items must be unworn, in original condition; returned with price tags still attached (if the returned item is apparel or accessories); returned in their original box (if the returned item is footwear). Some additional exceptions apply. See JD Sports return policy for details.

London Drugs

Uber Eats orders of London Drugs products may be returned or exchanged within 15 days of purchase with receipt to a London Drugs store location.

  • Return window: 15 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Uber Eats App receipt
  • Refund options: Refunds will be issued as merchandise credit
  • Exceptions: Products being returned for a refund must be received in their original purchase condition and in their original packaging. This includes all accessories, warranty cards and manuals. Some exceptions apply, see London Drugs Return Policy for details.

Lowes

Items purchased through Uber Eats can only be returned with proof of purchase (e.g. Uber Eats order receipt) to any Lowe’s retail store.

  • Return window: 90 days from date of purchase with exceptions
  • Things to bring: Uber Eats App receipt
  • Refund options: Lowe’s issues refunds for the item’s price and associated tax on the Uber Eats receipt as in-store credit.
  • Exceptions: Some exceptions apply, please refer to Lowe’s Return Policy for details.

Lush

Uber Eats orders of Lush products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase with receipt to a Lush store location.

  • Return window: 30 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Return barcode which can be found in the Uber Eats app
  • Refund options: Refund will be issued as store credit
  • Exceptions: Some exceptions may apply. See Lush’s Return Policy for details.

Michaels - US

You can return most items to any Michaels store within 60 days of purchase for merchandise credit.

  • Return window: 60 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Bring the item and Uber Eats receipt into the store, and present it to the service desk.
  • Refund options: Refunds will be issued as merchandise credit at the item’s lowest price sold within the previous 90 days.
  • Exceptions: Michaels reserves the right to limit returns or exchanges. Clearance sales are considered final, sold AS IS and are not returnable for a refund or exchange. Other exceptions apply, see Michael’s Return Policy for details.

Michaels - Canada

You can return most items to any Michaels store within 60 days of purchase for merchandise credit.

  • Return window: 60 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Bring the item, and valid photo ID, and your Uber Eats receipt into the store, and present it to the service desk.
  • Refund options: Refunds will be issued as merchandise credit based on the current sale price of the item or 20% off the item’s regular price.
  • Exceptions: Michaels reserves the right to limit returns or exchanges. Clearance sales are considered final, sold AS IS and are not returnable for a refund or exchange. Other exceptions apply, see Michael’s Return Policy for details.

Office Depot

Most purchases are eligible for exchange or refund within 90 days of purchase at any Office Depot store with a valid Uber Eats receipt.

  • Return window: 90 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Uber Eats App receipt, valid ID
  • Refund options: Refunds will be issued as merchandise credit for the lowest price of the item in the last 90 days.
  • Exceptions: Some exceptions apply. See Office Depot’s Return Policy for details.

PacSun

Uber Eats orders of PacSun products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase with receipt to a PacSun store location.

  • Return window: 30 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Return barcode which can be found in the Uber Eats app
  • Refund options: Uber Eats returns will be refunded to the method of payment selected in-app. Please be sure to retain a return receipt from the merchant to upload in-app in order to receive your refund.
  • Exceptions: Items must be returned in their original condition, tags attached, and unworn. Footwear must be returned with their original shoebox. Other exceptions may apply, see PacSun’s Return Policy for details.

Pet Food Express

Uber Eats orders of Pet Food Express products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase with receipt to a Pet Food Express store location.

  • Return window: 30 days from date of purchase

Uber Eats orders of Pet Supplies Plus products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase with receipt to a Pet Supplies Plus store location.

Uber Eats orders of Pet Valu products may be returned or exchanged within 60 days of purchase to a Pet Valu store location.

Petco

You can return most items to any Petco store within 30 days of purchase for a refund.

  • Return window: 30 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Return barcode which can be found in the Uber Eats app
  • Refund options: Uber Eats returns will be refunded to the method of payment selected in-app. Please be sure to retain a return receipt from the merchant to upload in-app in order to receive your refund.
  • Exceptions: Saltwater aquatic life cannot be returned or exchanged. Prescription medication returns cannot be accepted at store locations. Other exceptions apply, see Petco’s Return Policy for details.

Rexall

Uber Eats orders of Rexall products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase with receipt to a Rexall store location.

  • Exceptions: Prescription medications, lottery tickets, bus passes, phone cards, stamps, gift cards, and clearance items are not eligible for return or exchange, see Rexall’s Return Policy for details.

Sally Beauty

You can return most items directly to a Sally Beauty store for merchandise credit using your Uber Eats receipt within 60 days of the original purchase.

  • Return window: 60 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Uber Eats App receipt
  • Refund options: Refunds will be issued as merchandise credit
  • Exceptions: Some exceptions apply, Hair Extensions, Body Jewelry and Piercing Implements, Clipper Blades and Other Blades, and Fashion Earrings are not eligible for return. See Sally Beauty’s Return Policy for details.

Sephora

Uber Eats orders of Sephora products may be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase with receipt to a Sephora store location.

  • Return window: 30 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Return barcode which can be found in the Uber Eats app
  • Refund options: Uber Eats returns will be refunded directly from Uber Eats to the original method of payment
  • Exceptions: Product(s) must be in new or gently used condition and cannot be processed by mail or returned to Sephora at Kohl’s stores. See Sephora’s Return Policy for details.

Staples

Uber Eats orders of Staples products may be returned or exchanged at the original purchase Staples store.

  • Return window: Timeframe for returns varies by item. See Staples return policy for more details.
  • Things to bring: Return barcode which can be found in the Uber Eats app
  • Refund options: Uber Eats returns will be refunded to the method of payment selected in-app. Please be sure to retain a return receipt from the merchant to upload in-app.
  • Exceptions: Some items such as ink, toner, and software are not eligible for return. See Staples’ Return Policy for details.

Target

Go to any Target customer service desk and show the return barcode. To get your full refund from Uber, you must ask for the refund to the original payment method and not accept store credit.

Target is not affiliated with Uber, and this information is provided for convenience only. Target determines its return policy and is responsible for refunds of the in-store price.

  • Return window: 30 days from date of purchase
  • Things to bring: Return barcode which can be found in the Uber Eats app
  • Refund options: You must ask Target for the refund to be processed to the original payment method and not accept store credit. After returning the item to the store, follow the instructions in the Uber Eats app to request the refund from Uber Eats. Here you can select if you would like to receive the refund to your original payment method or Uber Cash. Please be sure to retain a return receipt from the merchant to upload in-app in order to receive your refund.

The Home Depot

Items purchased from The Home Depot can only be returned in-store.

The Vitamin Shoppe

You can return most items to any Vitamin Shoppe store within 30 days of purchase for merchandise credit. Bring the item and Uber Eats receipt into the store and inform the store associate your original order is from Uber Eats.

  • Things to bring: Uber Eats App receipt
  • Refund options: Refunds will be issued as merchandise credit

Ulta

You can return most items to any Ulta store within 60 days of purchase with receipt to an Ulta store location.

  • Return window: 60 days from date of purchase.
  • Things to bring: Return barcode which can be found in the Uber Eats app.
  • Refund options: Uber Eats returns will be refunded to the method of payment selected in-app. Please be sure to retain a return receipt from the merchant to upload in-app. Alternatively, you can have a Courier return your item for you.

West Coast Kids

West Coast Kids does not accept returns for items purchased through Uber Eats.
