WHAT IS Uber Pet?
Uber Pet allows riders to request a ride with a pet. By accepting a ride request with the Uber Pet option, you are authorizing the rider to ride with a pet.
NOTE: Uber Pet rides are reserved for animals other than service animals. According to Uber’s service animal policies, service animals are allowed to accompany riders at all times, at no additional cost, whether or not the ride is an Uber Pet. Applicable laws may also require that service animals be accepted at no additional cost.
HOW DOES Uber Pet WORK?
Uber Pet rides operate similarly to UberX rides. The main difference is the presence of a pet. If you accept Uber Pet rides, an additional fee of €4 per ride will apply.
HOW MANY PETS ARE ALLOWED?
Only one pet is allowed on an Uber Pet ride. If they have multiple pets, it is your choice whether or not to accept them.
WHAT PETS ARE ALLOWED ON AN Uber Pet ride?
Riders may bring a dog, cat, or any other animal listed as a pet (such as a rabbit or guinea pig). Other animals may be allowed at the driver’s discretion.
WHAT IF I HAVE AN ANIMAL ALLERGY?
If you have an allergy to certain animals, it is best to opt out of Uber Pet rides. However, in accordance with current legislation, service animals are permitted to accompany passengers at all times.
CAN I REFUSE A RIDE BECAUSE OF THE TYPE OF PET?
You can always cancel a trip if you’re not comfortable. If you don’t want to transport any type of pet, we recommend disabling Uber Pet rides. To disable this type of ride, please follow the steps below:
