The Uber Pay Code is a payment method used to pay for “Shop and Deliver” orders, in which a numeric code is provided to share with the Merchant Cashier and pay for the order. This code will be provided when proceeding to the payment screen in the App.
Make purchases like a regular “Shop and Deliver” order. * When you finish the shopping list, proceed to the payment of the order. * A 9-digit payment code will appear, you must share it with the Cashier of the Establishment, after informing them that it is an Uber order and having scanned all the items. * The Cashier will enter the code into their system, and you’re good to go. * The next screen will ask you to upload your receipt image, so don’t forget to get it.
The Uber Pay Code is only available for some Merchants and some “Shop and Deliver” orders. You’ll be able to verify this on your offer card, task list, and during checkout screens in your App:
While in all orders that require a Plus Card, the opposite will be indicated, and you will see the message “Pay with your Plus Card”.
Remember that only “Shop and Deliver” orders require you to Shop and Deliver for the order. If it is not a “Shop and Deliver” order, you only have to pick up the packaged order at the delivery counter of the Establishment and make the delivery.
When it is not possible to make the payment using the Payment Code, we suggest that you contact support to help you identify the problem and proceed with the payment. You should not pay with your own funds in order to pay with the Uber Payment Code. In the latter case, you can cancel the order.
