We are sorry that you lost an item on your recent Uber trip. Please know that you can contact your Driver Partner to inquire about your lost item as follows:
If you are unable to reach the Driver Partner directly from your app, enter your phone number at the bottom and we will call you to try to reach him.
If the Driver Partner: - Doesn’t respond, leave a voicemail message describing the missing item and wait up to 24 hours for a callback. - If he answers and confirms that he found your item, arrange delivery at a mutually convenient time and place.
Allow for the Driver Partner’s time and effort to return the item to you. To compensate for this, your account will be charged a return fee (amount varies by city) once the lost item is returned.
If you paid for the trip with a credit card, an adjustment will be made to add the value of the lost item return fee. If you paid with cash, we ask that you pay the fee directly to the Driver Partner upon receipt of your lost item.

Driver Partners are independent contractors. Neither Uber nor the Driver Partners are responsible for items lost in a vehicle after the trip ends. We are here to help you, but we cannot guarantee that a Driver Partner has your item or can deliver it to you immediately.
