How pick ups and drop offs work

Picking up and dropping off the rental will work differently depending on what type of reservation you made:

Vehicle pickup

For a rental that you’re picking up at the counter, you’ll need to arrive at the pickup location specific to your car rental at the reservation time. To pick up the vehicle, you’ll need to ensure you have your United States driver’s license, a physical credit card, and any other potential documentation that the rental supplier specifies in their Terms and Conditions. Please be sure that the name on the driver’s license exactly matches the name on the credit card.

You’ll drop off the vehicle once your reservation ends in accordance with the dropoff location, date, and time you’ve selected on your reservation. To avoid any additional fees, please be sure you’ve filled up the gas tank or charged the battery (if it’s an electric vehicle) to the level specified by the rental company.

Vehicle delivery

For vehicle delivery, a driver will pick up the vehicle for you and deliver it to the location specified during reservation at the date and time you selected. You’ll need to take a few steps to verify your identity before your reservation is confirmed (at least 2 hours before rental start), including providing a copy of your driver’s license (both United States and Canadian driver’s licenses are accepted) and a selfie to verify your identity.

At the time of delivery, you’ll take a quick selfie to confirm you’re the correct customer and the driver will hand the keys and the car over to you. Once you have completed your reservation, a driver will collect the vehicle from you at the location you specified at booking. They will return the vehicle for you. To avoid any additional fees, please be sure you’ve filled up the gas tank or charged the battery (if it’s an electric vehicle) to the level specified in your rental agreement.
