My account is waitlisted, what do I do?

Your account may be waitlisted when it is flagged for potential improper use of the Uber application. The account will be reviewed and we will revert within 2 working days, at this time you will not be able to go online. You will receive communication on the status of your account once review is complete.


Possible reason for this are:

1. Account Sharing
2. Failed Trips
3. Late delivery or pickup
4. Fraud
5. Cancellations
6. Safety issue


Top tips to avoid account waitlisting:

1. Only go online when you are ready to accept trips.
2. When you accept a request, head to the restaurant immediately using the route recommended by the app as this is likely to be the shortest route to the restaurant.
3. If the order is not ready, wait patiently at the restaurant and speak to the restaurant staff politely and professionally, avoid cancelling a request at the restaurant. Call or chat to live support in case you encounter any issues at the restaurant.
4. After pickup, head to the eater immediately using the shortest recommended route.
5. If you encounter any issues on the way to the drop off, reach out to support for assistance.
6. Once you arrive at the eater's location, follow any instructions provided, contact the eater at least 2 times and wait the time indicated on the app to give the eater enough time to collect their order.
7. Treat everyone with respect, help keep one another safe and follow the law.
