Q: What is the new minimum earnings standard in New York State?
A: For trips in New York State (outside of New York City), you are guaranteed to earn a minimum of $28.41 per hour for “active time.” Active time is the time spent en route to a rider and with a rider in your vehicle. For a full breakdown, see our New York State Minimum Earnings Guarantee page.
Q: How do I earn Paid Sick Leave?
A: You earn 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours of active time, up to a maximum of 56 hours per calendar year. Learn more on the New York State Paid Sick Leave page.

A: Yes, you are eligible to be paid for up to one hour for completing specific training materials about driving on the app.
