Tipping on guest rides

When you arrange a ride for someone, they’re unable to charge a tip to the payment method on your organization’s account. If they want to tip a driver, they can do so using cash.

To tip a driver on the rider’s behalf:

1. Search for a rider, go to Past rides, or Completed beneath Today’s trips.
2. Select the ride card for the completed trip you want to tip.
3. Click “Set tip”.
4. Select a suggested tip amount or enter a custom amount.

The search feature on the Uber Health dashboard will require an exact match on the first or last name of the rider and does not support phone number search.
