Delivery partners need an insulated bag to keep orders at their ideal temperature while driving from the restaurant to the eater's location, and to ensure we provide the best customer experience, we help you validate that your bag meets the necessary requirements.
Please note that to get your own bag validated you will need to submit a photo of it.
In order to use your own bag for deliveries, we will need to confirm that the bag in question meets the following requirements:
- If you already own a bag, take into account the submitted photo must comply with the following criteria:
-- Your bag is open to show the thermal insulation
-- Your identity card displays clearly your name and photo
-- Your bag is clean without damage
-- Your bag meets minimum requirement of 44cm width x 35cm depth x 40cm height
-- Your entire bag and ID are visible in the photo
-- We accept Insulated Bags without the Uber Eats brand
- Once you submit the picture, the approval process will take up to 72 hours.
- Should your document be approved, the status will move from "Pending" to "Active".
- If required documents are expired, missing, or rejected from your account, your account is on hold until those documents are uploaded and approved.
- You can confirm the status of any document, and review if additional documents are needed by following these steps:
-- Tap the profile picture in the upper right corner
-- Tap "Account" and afterwards tap "Documents"
-- Tap each document(s) listed to review it and upload a photo of the new document, if required.
-- Click "Save" to complete the process and submit it for review
- If your documents are already added and validated, your account will be automatically activated at the same time.
- Note that if your documents are not all added and validated yet, your account will not be activated. It will only be done once your documents have been validated and your bag received.
