Accommodating assistive devices

Uber expects drivers to comply with all state, federal and local laws governing the transportation of riders with disabilities.

Accordingly, Uber's policy prohibits drivers who use the Uber Driver App from refusing service to a rider with a disability who can get into the vehicle on their own and from refusing to assist with stowing assistive devices like folding wheelchairs, crutches, canes and walkers.

Violations of our policies about serving riders with disabilities may result in permanent loss of access to the Uber app.
