As part of our commitment to help increase sustainable transport, we’ll need more BEVs (Battery Electric Vehicles) on the platform.
To encourage the use of BEVs, Uber will be reducing service fees by 50% for driver-partners who use eligible BEVs, from 1 July 2021 until 30 June 2025.
Please note, that only the first 2,500 driver-partners that sign up are eligible for this offer. Also, the maximum savings is $3,500 per financial year (1 July-30 June) per driver.
Only battery-powered vehicles are eligible. Hybrids or combustion engine vehicles are not eligible as they generate emissions.
