How do driver promotions work?
Promotions generally require that you go online and complete trips, and may have additional requirements. Our offers will always explain what is required to qualify, and participation in any promotion is always completely up to you.
The following are some requirements that may apply:
NUMBER OF COMPLETED TRIPS
Some promotions require a minimum number of completed trips. Each time you pick up and drop off counts as one trip. If you are driving uberPOOL, each pick up counts as its own trip!
Some promotions require a minimum number of hours online, or may only be available during certain hours. We calculate your total number of hours to the minute. You are "online" any time you are available and receiving Uber trip requests, on the way to a pickup, or while on a trip.
Some promotions only apply in specified locations rather than your entire city. Location-based promotions are based on the rider's location when they request, not where you are when you accept the trip.
Some promotions require a minimum acceptance rate. Your acceptance rate is the number of trips you choose to accept out of the total number of trip requests sent to you via the Uber Driver app.
Some promotions require a minimum completion rate. Your completion rate is the number of trips you complete out of the total number of trip requests sent to you via the Uber Driver app.
Some promotions require driver-partners to opt in. To participate, you may be asked to provide your email address or phone number.
TRIPS PER HOUR
Some promotions require a minimum number of trips to be completed per hour online (for example, one trip per hour).
