I got a message that my Instant Pay cash out has not processed. What's going on?

While Uber strives to make Instant Pay as reliable and instant as possible, some banks may still take 2-3 days to process an Instant Pay cash out.

If a bank rejects a deposit, or it fails in the Uber system for any technical reason, the deposit will be returned in-app for you to cash out whenever you’re ready or you can wait until the next weekly direct deposit. You’ll also receive a notification in your Driver Inbox alerting you when a cash out was successful or unsuccessful.

We understand being able to access your earnings at any time is important. We made this change based on feedback and are committed to improving the overall driver experience.
