When you set up a direct deposit with Uber on vault.uber.com, Uber will send a text SMS with a unique 4-digit pin to your phone to verify your identity. This pin number is a security measure to protect your banking information.
If the SMS did not arrive to your phone number, you may need to update your phone number on your Uber account to get the pin verification to update your banking information.
To update your phone number:
- Go to partners.uber.com
- Click the menu on the top left corner
- Select PROFILE in the left-side menu
- Click EDIT next to your name
- Update your phone number
- Click SAVE
