You can delete your account here.
Please note that if you request to delete your Delivery-Partner account, your associated Spender account will also be deleted.
Following your account deletion request, we delete your data, except as necessary for purposes of safety, security, fraud prevention or compliance with legal requirements, or because of issues relating to your account (such as an outstanding credit or an unresolved claim or dispute). The legal requirements for which we retain your data include those relating to our tax obligations, potential litigation or insurance claims, and retention requirements under transportation or other regulations. The data retained pursuant to such requirements includes your account information, location data, and transaction information, which we retain for 7 years following your account deletion request.
You may restore your account during that time period by signing back into the app and going online (i.e. signal you are prepared to accept trips on the Uber Eats platform).
Please see Uber’s Privacy Notice for Drivers and Delivery People for more information regarding our data retention and deletion practices.
Before you delete your account, we’ll ask you to verify your identity using a temporary verification code. This may require you to have a phone number attached to your account. Please visit this page if you’re having issues adding a phone number in your account settings.
If you can’t delete your account using the link above, or if you are a Fleet or Uber Freight user, please contact support using the form below. Drivers who want to delete their Driver account should visit this page.
