- This fee is paid by the rider and included in the trip fare
Booking fees
- A booking fee is applied to each Uber ride to support operational costs
- This fee is part of the rider’s total fare and doesn’t reduce your trip earnings
- The booking fee includes GST, leaving you with only the GST component to potentially remit to the tax office.
Split fare fees
- For ride fares split between multiple riders, a split fare fee is charged.
- Riders pay this fee, which is then deducted from your earnings.
