How do I get a Plus Card?

If you have signed up for delivery requests where you shop and pay for your customers, you are eligible to receive a Plus Card through the mail (in some markets you may have the option to pick up a Plus Card at your local Greenlight Hub). You can then use it as a payment method in your account.

Once you’ve received your card, activate it by going in the app to Account > Plus Card and following the step-by-step instructions.

If you want to receive these types of delivery opportunities, please download the latest version of the Driver app and make sure you have accepted any additional Shop & Pay terms, if required.

How does the Plus Card work?

The Plus Card will only work to purchase pre-approved items for a customer who has requested a Shop and Pay delivery from you. The Plus Card will only be authorized up to the expected order total for each delivery that requires you to shop and pay.

How do I use the Plus Card?

The Plus Card works like a credit card. A PIN code is not required to use it.

You don’t need to preload the Plus Card, since you’ll only be able to use it for the total amount authorized for that order.

Why was my Plus Card declined?

The Plus Card may only be used to purchase items pre-approved by Uber based on the customer’s order request. Also, it will only be authorized up to the expected order total for each delivery that requires you to shop and pay.

Some reasons why the Plus Card could be declined: * You may be at the wrong store * The order total is higher than the amount pre-approved by Uber based on what your customer ordered

If your Plus Card is declined: * Review your substituted items. Find the cheaper item or remove the item after asking the customer. Higher-priced substitute items can cause the order total to exceed the amount pre-authorized on your Plus Card. * Swipe your card again.

If these steps don’t work, please contact Support to inform them as you may need to cancel the order.

What should I do if I lose my Plus Card?

If you lost the Plus Card or you believe it was stolen, please request a new Plus Card. You can request a new Plus Card by contacting support through your app or visiting the nearest Greenlight Hub. Once received you’ll need to update your Plus Card information in the Account > Plus Card section within the app.
