The app is freezing or crashing iOS

If your app keeps freezing or crashing, try the following in the app:

Force quit

iPhone X or later

  1. From the home screen, swipe up from the bottom of your screen and pause in the middle of the screen.
  2. Swipe right or left to locate the Driver app.
  3. Swipe up on the Driver app’s preview to close the app.
  4. Reopen the app.

iPhone SE, and iPhone 8 and earlier

  1. Double tap the home button.
  2. Swipe up on the Uber app card.
  3. Reopen the app.

If you continue to experience issues, you can try to reset your network settings.

Reset network settings

This may result in all passwords being deleted.

Select Settings > General > Transfer or Reset iPhone > Reset > Reset Network Settings.
