Uploading Documents with a webcam

To start driving with Uber, we require a few documents, including:

• A valid driver’s license
• Vehicle registration
• Proof of insurance

Switching from desktop to mobile

If you want to finish uploading your documents through the Uber app instead of a desktop, follow these steps:

1. Select the “use my phone” option from the document upload page.
2. Click one of the following options:

• Text me a link - Receive a link via SMS to complete uploading your document.

• Use QR code - Scan with your phone’s camera to complete uploading your document.

Both of these options will redirect you to the uber app for you to complete uploading your document and begin driving.

Make sure your documents are correct before submitting them for approval. Uploaded documents generally take 1-5 days to review. You can learn more about how to upload your documents to the Uber app here.
