To drive with a certain vehicle on the Uber app, your vehicle must fulfill the criteria mentioned here. The list of vehicles eligible are mentioned on our website here.
For UberX, all vehicles with PHV licences from an Uber-approved council will be accepted, as long as all other document and account requirements are met.
If you’re looking to have a vehicle licensed for the first time, then please make sure that the council is accepted by using this link. If your vehicle is already licenced by an Uber-approved council, then please add this on the Uber app and upload documents to get started.
For products other than UberX, such as Comfort, Electric, Access, Exec or UberXL, your vehicle must meet the relevant product criteria and be included on the eligible vehicle list. If your vehicle appears to meet the product criteria but is not shown on the eligible vehicle list, you can submit this form to request a review.
Please note that the review takes 2-4 weeks and if we think that the vehicle is eligible then it will be added to the Vehicle Eligibility List automatically.
