UberPool is a trip option for riders who wish to share a ride with others heading to the same direction. It gives riders the option to share their ride for a more affordable price, which means more riders can take Uber more frequently.
How it works:
1. Your app will show you if the rider has requested for a Pool trip
2. When you accept the trip, you will see the upfront fare + Uber's service fee for that trip. The same will show as you accept additional riders for the Pool trip
3. Your driver app will show an efficient route to pick up your riders
2. To lessen detours, riders are directed to walk a short distance to the pickup point and a short distance to their destination from the drop-off point.
