How to update or add bank information to your driver account

Need to update or add new banking details to get paid? You can do this through the driver app or on the web at wallet.uber.com.

Through the driver app:

  1. Open the driver app
  2. Tap the three lines in the top left corner to open the menu
  3. Select Wallet then Payment methods
  4. Choose Bank account
  5. Tap Edit
  6. Enter your bank account details
  7. Tap Done to save the changes

On the web wallet.uber.com:

  1. Visit wallet.uber.com and log in
  2. Click on Wallet on the left-hand side
  3. Select your bank account
  4. Click Edit
  5. Update your bank information as needed
  6. Click Submit to confirm the changes

Important information:

  • Find your routing and checking numbers on the bottom of your printed personal checks or by contacting your bank.
  • Updates to your bank information can delay payment. Changes can result in a 3-5 business day delay in receiving your weekly earnings.
  • To prevent payment delays, make bank account changes before 4:00 AM local time on Monday. This ensures your next earnings are sent to the new account.
  • If a deposit goes to the previous account, reach out to your bank to recover the funds.

Remember to check all details carefully before submitting to ensure your earnings get to you without any issues!
