What are Suggested Combos?

  • Using data-driven insights, we may make customized changes to your menu on your behalf to help improve your sales, this can include “Suggested Combos”.
  • Suggested Combos are items that are frequently purchased together that are combined to make it easier for customers to order them.

*If items are deleted or marked out-of-stock, they will not be included in the generated combos. *

What are some examples of Suggested Combos?

There are several different types of Suggested Combos, for example:

  • Combos consisting of two existing items from your menu, with either a main dish and a side or a main dish and a beverage being the most common pairing.
  • Family Meals: combos consisting of several popular dishes or multiple courses that can serve families or large groups.
  • Combos that make it easier to purchase or customize 2 or more of the same dish.

How does pricing work for Suggested Combos?

  • The price of the resulting combo will be the sum of the price of the items in the combo (i.e. no discounts are being offered).
  • Merchants can update their menus at any time, with price changes being reflected in the combos immediately while changes to item titles and descriptions will be reflected the next time the combos are refreshed.

How often do the combos change?

  • Typically, combos will be refreshed once per week, so that they always reflect the latest menu information and customer order trends.

How can I participate?

  • If you want to participate, no action is needed on your part. You can opt out at any time by updating your status in the Settings tab of Uber Eats Manager. If you face issues, contact your Account Manager.
