Uber Eats Orders User Guide

This section explains how to use Uber Eats Orders.

1. “New Order” Tab

When a new order is placed, the screen will turn green. Tap the screen to accept the order. Confirm the order details and tap the “Confirm” button.

Note: If you forget to press the “Confirm” button, the order will automatically time out and be canceled. Even if cooking has already begun, we will not restock the item. Thank you for your understanding.

2. “In Progress” Tab

After pressing the “Confirm” button, you will be moved to the “In Progress” tab. Once the item is ready, tap the “Confirm” button for the order.

  1. New Order 2. During the In Progress operation, you can perform the following operations:
  • [Pickup Time] You can change the pickup time by tapping the “** minutes until pickup” message.

You can also perform the following operations from the “Manage Order” button.

  • [Set Out of Stock Item] Select an out-of-stock item and be notified that it is no longer available.
  • [Edit Order Amount] This can be used if there is a change in the total amount.

Instructions: Enter the revised amount (including consumption tax), set the tax rate (VAT) to 8%, select the reason, and tap “Done.”

Example: To adjust the price negatively, enter the amount with a minus sign (e.g., “- 400”).

To adjust the price positively, enter the amount as is.

  • [Add Delivery Partners] If you have a large number of items, you can add more delivery partners.
  • [Contact Customer] Use this feature when you need to contact the customer directly.

A phone number and code will be displayed to contact the customer. Simply contact the phone number and enter the code to connect with the customer.

  • [Delay Order] You can change the delivery time.

Note: This feature can only be used once per order.

  • [Cancel Order] Select and enter a reason, then tap “Cancel Order.” A notification will be sent to the customer.

Note: No payment will be taken for this order, as it is canceled by the restaurant partner.

Once an order is moved to the “Ready for Pickup” tab, you will no longer be able to mark the item as out of stock, delay the order, or cancel the order. If you have any questions, please contact restaurant support.

How to Contact:

  • Tap the “Manage Orders” button for the order → Tap the “More” button
  • Tap the three lines in the upper left → Tap “Contact Support”

3. “Ready for Pickup” Tab

Orders displayed in the “Ready for Pickup” tab are orders waiting for pickup or in the process of being delivered.

When an order is in the “Ready for Pickup” tab, you can perform the following actions using the “Manage Orders” button.

  • [Edit Order Amount]
  • [Add Delivery Partners]
  • [Contact Customer]

4. “Order History” Tab

You can view your order history in the “Order History” tab in the lower left.

You can also view your order history for a specific date by specifying a date.

In the “Order History” tab, you can view the order details and total amount.

Order Status

  • “Cancelled”: The order was canceled (tap the order to see the reason).
  • “Completed”: The order has been delivered.
  • “Delivery Unsuccessful”: The customer canceled the order via Uber Support.
  • “Pickup”: The customer picked up the order.
  • “Order Unsuccessful”: The restaurant partner did not accept the order.

5. Menu Tab

  • [Product Availability] Tap the eye icon to the right of the product name to change the product availability.

Options: “Available,” “Sold Out Today,” “Not Planned to Restock.” * [Time] Edit menu availability times. * [Ordering Help] * [Help Center] Go to the Uber help page. * [User Guide] View a PDF version of the Uber Eats Orders User Guide. * [Settings] Set important information for delivery partners by going to Store Information → Pickup Instructions. * [Start Busy Mode] Change the preparation time per order.

  ”Standard”: Keep the normal preparation time (unchanged) / “Busy”: Add 10 minutes to the normal preparation time / “Very Busy”: Add 20 minutes to the normal preparation time * [Pause New Orders] Set a period during which new orders will not be accepted.
